shareI think they pulled a "Child's Play" on us at the end. The real killer did die, but I'm almost sure that little part at the end with the bf in the hospital opening his eyes all of a sudden was meant to mean that the killer somehow passed on his grudge to the bf. Probably just because he was the only guy to survive, OR because he's close to the girl he wants to kill.

Actually, though I'm not sure, when the clown character turned the boy's eyes red, that was his way of "taking over" the boy. then, in the hospital he actually did take him over and went back to killing people. the ending was hilarious too lmao "I said, YOU WANNA DIE FATASS?!"
shareI could have swore that, this movie is terrible and the unresolved end was just a way for filmmakers to make a sequel/mirror other horror films by not having the Killer die, despite the fact that the major conflict was resolved and there was no need for the killer to survive. Ether way this movie sucks.

the major conflict wasn't resolved. He wanted to kill Mackenzie. He didn't. She is still alive.
