Was there really a ouija board used in The Exorcist?


I don't remember that part.
Plus, I don't think 5 people could get high off that small of a joint.

Yeah, Reagan (Linda Blair) was talking to a spirit named Captain Howdy via the Ouija board in the original Exorcist. She asked it a question and it apparently said something about her Mom and she said "that's not very nice Captain Howdy" or something along those lines. Haven't watched it in a few years.

For some trivia, the killer in Strangeland was named Captain Howdy and was played by Dee Snider from Twisted Sister, who also had a song name Captain Howdy.

and that concludes this mornings episode of *beep* i knew in 1998 lol " good catch though cuz i was gonna write the same thing. also you forgot,dee snider wrote strangeland and originally had the idea for it when he wrote the song captain howdy in 1984,and it was based on a killer using a party line on the phone to get victims.he adapted it to the internet age when the movie was filmed in 97/98.
