Better than most of the crap horror shoveled into theatres(spoilers)
So was this a direct to DVD, or just a small release? I rented the DVD, and was pleasently surprised. Its too bad. Looking at pretty much all of the horror thats gotten wide release the pat 5 years or so, about 80% has been complete garbage, with a twist that may be unexpected, but that doesnt neccessarily make it good.
In a time where every horror flick needs to have some kind of pointless twist, this one actually had a good one. It was predictablish, but not completely. I noticed that nobody except Stan ever interacted with him, but my theory was that it was his childhood imaginary friend back to help him in his time of need, kind of like a modernized, darker Drop Dead Fred. I supose I was close, kind of.
