I really enjoyed this movie and heres why

Its very refreshing to see a gay themed movie without having completely unnessisary sex scenes thrown in.
Its the one thing that usually puts me off watching gay films (and normal films for that matter) is the sex appeal thrown in them (if i wanted to watch hot guys wearing next to nothing i would watch porn)

I like this film because it protrayed being an finding self acceptance in an interesting way.
It showed the character learning that no matter what happens he will always be different and he needs to accept himself for who he is.

Agreed. Still some films do succeed in adding sex scenes in a tasteful manner. (Brokeback anyone?)

The difference with brokeback mountain is that those scenes did contribute to the movie.They had a point.

Where as many other gay films with ott sex scenes seem to lack this.
