Anyone watch this on BBC2 this morning?

Thought it was quite good in places, I'll keep an eye out for Greg Hall in ze future

Just watched it, and really enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of films like Trainspotting and Human Traffic, except those films are about a group of characters while The Plague is about people who could live next door.

In 50 years people could look back and know "this is just what life was like".
I doubt anyone will.

Fortunately they don't live next door to ME. What a bunch of inarticulate retards. ( Innit.)

I wouldn't say it was awful. The acting was exactly what Hall wanted for the film - honest.
The actors were all local people rather than professional actors, and they'll never do Shakespeare, but they were realistic and that was the most important thing.
