Great news everyone! Straight from the halls of inspiration, from the den of imagination, from the house where CLAMP writes all their manga comes great big huge news! Brace yourselves, everyone, and hold on tight, for this might just blow you away:

xxxHolic is going to be a TV SERIES!!!

Okay, maybe it wasn't completely unexpected, but hey, still good news, ne?

The show is due out next year on Japanese television. No news on who will air it or which animation house is going to be providing the animation, but it seems reasonably assured that the 'xxxHolic' movie cast will return to reprise their roles for the show. With any luck, there will be some more news out soon. If you want to know more (and you can read Japanese), head over to the official CLAMP website.

It sure is nice to get some good news once in a while. Now, what do YOU all think?

I'm actually quite surprised at the news. I knew, like, about a year ago about the movie, and I was surprised then, because I was wondering "why're the making a movie first?". (Didn't they do that with "X"?)

At the CLAMP site, it just says the same thing we know...it's been talked about, and it's starting in Spring 2006. I'm hoping Production IG does the animation for it, but don't they just do movies? Maybe Madhouse can do it - they seem to stick to animation well...or whatever. Who do ya'll think should do the animation?

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!

Today it was announced that Production I.G. would be animating the series!! I'm really excited...because my hoping was right, hah. Broadcast is still set for Spring2006...but I can wait.
