I really liked this

I'm sad to see this movie get such low ratings and opinions, I loved it and have watched it prob. 3 times in the last 8 years. I'm in Germany and just so that people know, this movie has reached Europe. I like the dreamy/hallucinogenic style of it. One of my favourite Parts is when the prostitute is in the motel löbby with the seriäl killer and she is so out of it, she keeps getting glimpses of her First Nations boyfriend whö she really loves. It gives a kind of insight into these women's frame of mind or delusions. (plus I'm a fan of Nathaniel Arcand, the First Nations BF) He's a hottie.
Anyway, a lot of people seem to be really hard on Canadian films because they're not all shiny and sprinkled with fairy dust (cocaine) like Hollywood films. Canadian films are a lot like European films, honest and unpretentious. I am a fan of Canadian films and Canada is a huge exporter of great actors.
