moral of the story
What was the moral of this story, very confusing!!!
shareIn the 'current' setting the young guy likes the youngest wife of his elder brother (who has two wives).
In the 'ancient' setting there is a similar situation where the elder brother has three wives.
In the 'ancient' setting the husband of the three wives dies due to the fight with the tribe that he thought had kidnaped the second wife. The youg guy then acquires three wives and is immediately in trouble as each of the wives wants him to stay with her despite the fact that he was only interested in the younger wife.
In the 'ancient' time there are many theories as to whom kidnapped the wife. In the end the theories were all wring as explained in the narrative.
I've not bothered to put spoilers as the OP has asked what the moral of the story is - so a spoiler is redundant.
