Electrocution!

In one scene, the kids are trying to fix up an old TV when it overheats and starts on fire. One kid reaches for his super soaker watergun, while another kid dumps a cooler over the blazing appliance. No one was injured.

Wow, I was shocked (figuratively) when I saw this! Had that been for real, that kid most likely would have been electrocuted. I wonder how many Japanese kids are now going to therefore think a bucket of water is the best way to extinguish an electrical fire when the kitchen toaster catches on fire...

Isn't that only if you touch it though?
Then again I'm not entirly sure what to do in an electrical fire.

The kid dumping the water probably would get wet in the process and find himself standing in an electrified puddle of water.

If I'm not mistaken, those red fire extenguishers can probably be used on electrical fires.

The ones that can be used, I think they say Wet Chemicals on it. And that TV, the kid may have been wearing shoes/trainers/sneakers with rubber soles, so the electricity would have been earthed :)
