Ha, first post!

What, aren't there brazillian perople interested in this series?

I've seen the 2 first episodes (that's how it goes in Mexico), and what I've seen I liked, but not that much. Brazillian is a different culure and although it's closer to the mexican, we're just more used to see Hollywood-kind of series on TV, specially on HBO.

Then Mandrake represents a fine effort to do something different, but it gets lost in it's plot, and the darkness that it desperately tries to depict. Then the main character is not as convincing as it should but whenever it's starts to sink, there are the GIRLS. Oh my gosh! God bless Brazillian women.

Anyway, Mandrake is a better option than almost everything else, but it's not terribly great. I'll give it time, can't make my opinion only after two eps.

Indeed. Marcos Palmeira was not a good choise at all.
Marcelo Serrado is, by far, the best actor in this series.
Could be realy good as the lead! don't you think?
