MANDRAKE
How can I find it with spanish or in english subtitles. I'm trying to watch it in Portuguese but it is tough cuz I don't speak portuguese. Still seems intriguing tho. is it on hbo latino in the states. anyone know?

shareIs the dialogue being dubbed into Spanish on HBO On Demand? The sound doesn't seem to match up with lips. Maybe they figured it'd be more marketable as HBO Latino in Spanish?
shareI have HBO On Demand via TimeWarner Cable. It has rather terrible English subtitles. That is to say, the subtitles are literal to the point of making me wonder if the people who wrote the subs were using a Portuguese-to-English dictionary. Every expression or idiom is translated word by word, rather than to an English equivalent. I have basic high school Spanish, but it hardly helps. I did like quite like the show, however.
shareThe English is also error-filled. I know neither Spanish nor Portuguese, but I could knew the characters names. The subtitles mix up Mandrake's 2 girlfriends' names.
shareThat too. It was irksome because it made me have to use the rewind button quite often to get the names and story straight. I still found the show to be very interesting, however. Could have done without so very much nudity-- and I'm hardly a prude.

Mandrake is on HBO ondemand you can watch all thirteen episodes. Is there going to be a second season?
