We all make disgusting jokes once in a while....

...but that's perfectly normal. And then you watch a freakishly silly film, like Date Movie, and everybody keeps bashing you. Why?

I posted this a couple of months ago on the Epic Movie Board and I was being called stupid (in all kinds of ways, nearly all of them being pretty rude) but I really don't understand what the fuzz is about. These are meant to be stupid films, not quality films and I think there's nothing wrong with watching them.

I've seen all the scary movie films and date movie with my brother and we laughed our asses off...And the next week we'd go and see "Changeling" at the movies. Watching Date Movie doesn't mean you only enjoy the IMDB Bottom 100.

We all laugh at fart jokes, disgusting remarks and silly gestures. Everyone is a little childish and goofy sometimes. And to all you bashers who keep offending people on this board: Don't act like the only things you can laugh at are political satire and super-sharp wit. Because that's a lie.

I'm not questioning the movie's rating by the way, all I'm saying is that movies like these also have its right to exist.

Also, I was wondering: Why do you keep on coming to these boards if you hate the movies so much?! IMDB is a place for movie lovers not for verbally attacking other people.
