I bet they spent a fortune on it and only made it one hour and 2 minutes. What a ripoff, were they high when they wrote this? Or do some contest to have a five year olds story made, to ruin our fav fox and hound?

relax. The movie is great. They didn't need to stretch it out.

That was it? Just two minutes? Open Season 2 had longer minutes than that! Well....for....about 17 minutes. I didn't knew the minutes were more shorter than the hour.

i am glad it was only a hour, if they stretched it any more it would have been unwatchable, at least this shorter version is fast paced. One of the better disney sequels in terms of animation anyway.

It would only have really been worth lengthening if they'd had a REALLY great script that called for more than 62 minutes...it's a short film, yes, but as I've expressed, I feel that it should have been an original movie about the Singin' Strays rather than the mediocre midquel that it is. I LOVE the music, the animation, and the new characters, and I appreciated the chance to revisit certain classic FatH characters. Alas, the simple, toned-down Tod and Copper plot line is somewhat unworthy of being associated with the original masterpiece, as it just doesn't quite fit into the story we know and cherish. This movie moves along at a pretty good clip and takes the time it needs to tell its story fairly well, though.
