I just adored Dixie. Anyone else feel the same way? I recite her lines all the time.

I LOOOVE Dixie! From the moment I first saw her, she became one of my all-time favorite characters. ^.~
Her design, attitude, voice, personality, singin’ and dancin’--everything about her is the total awesomeness. And she is very highly quotable! “If your ear were any more tin, they could can BEANS with it!” XD
P.S. I am still interested in MySpace-ing as Brainy Barker with you & your friends. Hopefully sometime coming up soon…(yeah, ‘tis me, the name’s changed since then!) You just make a page for the character and maintain it, right?
Dixie's great! I wasn't happy about them making a sequel but she changed my mind completely- she's such an awesome character

shareDefinitely a Saluki. (Possibly mixed with a little Poodle, Afghan hound, and/or Irish Water Spaniel.)
She's in the family with Rita, Sasha, Brainy Barker, Bella the Millionaire Dog, etc., etc. Animated sighthounds ftw!! No doubt some of them inspired several others. And my lifelong adoration of sighthounds has always made them all favorite characters of mine.
