The Only Good Disney Sequal

Man, how can the make another Fox and The Hound?...Maybe the Hunter and The Old women will get married...Who cares, They already told their story. Sequals are usually lame and characters change and it screws the whole thing up. One sequal of disney's that I did enjoy however was The Rescuers Down under. Great flick. Well I don't really care because I won't watch it anyways. Maybe movies now adays are just getting cheap and lame. They are all mostly horrible, rip off, propagating, money making pieces of junk. No wonder people in the world are starving, lame hollywood can't do anything better then to make movies that are far fetched and have no place in a sensible civilized world. Remember when the old folks talk of the old days and how those old movies from the 50's and 60's...how they were good and our movies suck. Well maybe they were right....cuz now I'm getting older and I see how much these new movies suck. Maybe all movies suck. Life's not about movies...lets get together and live well and prosper withough watching movies!!!

personally, I agree that Fox and the Hound doesn't need a sequel. I am, however, inclined to point out that there have been notable exceptions in the past: Rescuers Down Under, Lion King 2, Toy Story 2 (but I guess that's Pixar, so nevermind that one) and others that I forget at the moment.

Disney have been making unnecessary sequels to their animations for quite a while now and in my opinion most turn out to be real turkeys.

The Fox & The Hound is fifteen years old and isn't even what I'd call a mainstream Disney classic! So why bother? The answer must surely be "for the money" and nothing else.

That said, sequels I have enjoyed include the two Lilo & Stitch and Aladdin ones. The second Beauty & The Beast wasn't too bad either.

The good disney sequels I thought did fine to me was The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, and Bambi II. Those were all I can think of. The rest of them are fine and decent for entertainment purposes, but the worst one is...dare I say it, ech! Brother Bear 2, and now next year in January, we're getting an Open Season 2 and their story plot doesn't make a wink of sense! But that's going off topic, sorry about that. Anyways, yes I have to say that most of their DTV sequels can be cheapy! That's why nobody else likes them!

I think the best Disney sequel is Aladdin The King of Thieves and I enjoyed Beauty and the Beast:Enchanted Christmas, Rescuers Down Under,Twist in Time, Ariel's Beginning, Bambi 2 and Lion King 2 too. Mulan 2 and Lady and the Tramp 2 were decent. The other sequels, by the way this was average for me, ranged from average(Little Mermaid 2, Return Of Jafar) to awful(Cinderella 2, Jungle Book 2)

I'd say There were no good disney classic sequels... Classics are classics for a reason so leave them untouched!

I'll agree with the Rescuers & Lion King sequels being good...by far the best ones from Disney, along with Beauty & the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.

I personally found reasons to enjoy and/or LOVE The Fox & the Hound, Cinderella, Lady & the Tramp, & 101 Dalmatians sequels...despite acknowledging that the movies themselves ranged from pretty lousy to almost excruciatingly awful, in comparison with the quality of their originals. As for all the rest...well, imo they all varied as well. Mulan 2 is fairly good. Ariel's Beginning wasn't too bad. Some were purely horrible while others had their decent moments, whether or not they were overall really worth watching.

The best Disney sequel is most definitely The Rescuers Down Under. I also have a soft spot for Bambi 2,
Simba's Pride, and Aladdin and the King of Thieves.
