Wow!!! She really showed how evil she could really be in this movie. I feel like in the original we were only "introduced" to these characters but in this movie they were REALLY able to evolve. In the original, Cinderella started to stand up for herself but in this one she took charge! The Prince had no role at all in the first and he this one we finally get to see who he is. But the Stepmother... she showed her true hatred for Cinderella!!!
shareYes I've been saying the same thing since I saw the movie. Cinderella was too nice and never disrespected her stepmother no matter how much of a B she was it made me crazy to see her be so abused. Here she stands up to her because she knows that Lady Tremaine is stealing her only chance at happiness for no reason but her jealousy. The Prince was fun here he was nice, funny, and brave in the original he didn't do anything to show personality. He should have a name I think. I really like Anastasia and it's awesome that they kept her nice it's hard to believe that she was so mean in the first because in this one. I really like that they let us see that people are deeper than we think.

shareYeah, for real! Near the end of the movie, she practically told Lucifer to rub her out! And she almost turned Anastasia into a toad. Her own daughter! We also got to see a little bit more of Pricilla (or is it Drezelda?) She's still mean, but she also has a dry, sarcastic wit about her too. I loved this line:
TREMAINE: Hurry and clean this up. My daughter must have her beauty sleep before her wedding tonight.
PRICILLA: Hmph. Think that'll be enough time?
Someone on these boards said that this was almost made into a series. I could see that almost happening: Anastasia ends up being good and living with the baker while being best friends with Cinderella. Tremaine and Pricilla are banished, but go into dark magic to try come up with plots to seek revenge on Cinderella.
One question: Anastasia has a beautiful singing voice, so why the heck was she playing a flute when she clearly sucked at it and Pricilla was singing when she clearly sucked at that???
The stepmother hates Cinderella so much that she will have her daughter clone Cinderella's body just so Cinderella doesn't end up with the prince!

TREMAINE: And you, keep your mouth shut or your next!
Good god she'd banish her own daughter! Drizella looked genuinely scared $hi+less!
I guess she made Anastasia play the flute instead of sing because Anastasia only sings when she's wistful... yeah I dunno I'm just guessing. It was also sick how she made Anastasia take the shape of Cinderella that's simply pshycotic!

Probably Lady Tremaine was trying to improve their skills and judged it would be necessary for Anastasia to improve her singing.
That's the only good thing about Cinderella 3.
shareYou are right did you see that stepmother had been really kinda mean to Anastasia. I mean the poor girl was getting married as cinderella against her will. Also i kinda noticed that stepmother, Anastasia, and Drizella aren't really a big happy family. Maybe they should get some family Consuling. That would pobly not work very well for them. so back to this. Also i could not believe that stepmother would turn Anastasia into a toad. I mean aren't mothers suppose to be supportive to their kids. Like stepmother wouldn't even win the mother of the year award. Lets just say that she has really bad parenting skills for her daughters.
