God Dammit...what the hell? HOW CAN THEY DO THAT? ARE THEY RETARTED? I LOVE BROTHER BEAR..I WATCHED IT LIKE 40 TIMES...BUT A LOVE STORY FOR A SEQUEL?

But there is a great line in the trailer: "Got news for you...this ain't mud"

How was the first one a love story? Brother Bear 1 was based more on brotherhood while the second one was based on...well crappy romance!

The 1st one was a love story because brotherhood IS love, Kenai and Koda become brothers in the 1st one... And the 2nd one's romance was not crappy. It gives us a heartfelt message about strong bonds and following our hearts to the ones we love. I love both movies equally.
