Apparently she wanted to be like one of the female characters who played around with the males.

Every time I see this film, it reminds me of her...

Not unusual. Some of them learn the other side of that game when the guy she loves (actually or only in imagination) puts the iron boot on her other foot.

the best thing you can do now is get drunk and call her at 4 am crying to come back. if that doesn't work, throw a brick through her window with a love letter attached to it.
