interesting

i picked this up for a couple quid the other day on dvd.
its nothing new and not teribly exciting - but theres something about it thats just manages to hold the attention. the low budget has been made the most of and it was even shot on some pretty dirty, grainy stock - which does actually add to the visceral look of it all. good ol' sean pertwees death was a tad ridiculous - but i guess its tricky to judge just what someone looks like after being mauled and eaten by dogs. it ended up being a bit funny.

maybe its cos a few of the character, - particularly the nasty guy steve, werent really that over the top. not great acting - but societies retards like that guy we all recognise from the rape or muggin behind the bins next to macdonalds.

so in that sense - i found it kinda interesting and a little disturbing - there was almost no emotion between any ofthe characters. and that kinda worked
