This is ripped off from survival quest.
This reminded me big time of a film from the late 80s called survival quest.
shareYeah, it is somewhat similar. Assuming it's the Survival Quest that starred Lance Henricksen and was directed by Don Coscareli (Phantasm films). Wilderness is certainly more graphic and the characters are a deplorable lot, whereas Suvival Quest was fairly tame except for a few instances and Lance's character was a stand up guy who took no guff.
shareThere was an american movie called "The Breed" that came out in 2006. I'm not sure if Wilderness was a box office release in Europe, but "The Breed" was just a straight to vid so so horror flick. Anyhow, they both featured killer dogs, I think they were German Shepherds as well. One more similraity, they were both set on an abandoned island.
