Does it contain the obligatory sex scene that every Highlander film has.

I mean honestly since the Chris Lamberts character always got it on with some chick, and even the bad guys occasionally get some, I mean the scene was always kind of pointless but it was always in all the films, I'm not complaining but I always thought it was kind of funny.

I mean it always hit me as funny when watching the films I thought of the pickup line "We Immortals are sterile and can't transmite STD's so I don't know you wanna have sex or something I'm kinda bored." Thats how random some of the scenes were.

Yeah after a certain point when watching the movie I started wondering if it would have a sex scene like all the other Highlander movies, and of course it does, because by this point it's obviously a staple of the series as much as beheadings and quickinings (Animated Series doesn't count I guess in this aspect, but then again almost none of the Highlander staples are in the Animated Series)

Yeah I groaned when it come on hehe Cartoon sex has never really done it for me so I find it useless to be put in, it kinda slows down proceedings a bit but it is a staple.

The funny thing is that the sex scene in the first Highlander was added during reshoots (as mentioned on the DVD commentary). The original scene (which was sadly destroyed in a studio fire) was simply a post coital discussion between Connor and Brenda (this scene is also in the shooting script unlike the actual sex scene).

The only sex scene that I felt wasn't gratuitious was in Endgame with Duncan and Kate, because it was both character and story driven.

lets face it, every highlander has to have the sex scene, just as an opportunity to gets the sex out of the way before the violence, more convincing however than in the third highlander film

Come on people. Every action film, in fact most films that are rated 15 or higher have a crap romantic sub plot and sex scene.

Can't blame the highlander series for doing what everybody else does.

Eh... I was kinda disappointed... I thought it'd be more detailed, more graphic... I was like, "Meh." It was kinda corny, kinda sweet but I didn't find it to be super-necessary. Maybe it added that certain element to the story? Or maybe the director felt obliged to cos of the other Highlander films??? Neh...

But I like movie sex, anime or live-action, it's more tasteful... it leaves things to the imagination. The scene was done in good taste, and it was romantically done, and it was better than just a 'slip of the nipple.'

Alcohol is the answer. What is the question?

I liked the sex scene in this. Yes, it was obligatory but I expected it to be. I wold've rather been disappointed if they didn't include a sex scene in it.
