Do you think Barbrah would have killed "Annabelle"

In case you forgot, Annabelle was the young woman, Barbrah met in the park at the very end. Since the ending meant to imply that Barb is a serial predator, how do you think she would have destroyed Annabelle's life? She drove Jenifer Dodd into a deep depression, and put Sheba in jail. Wouldn't murder be the next logical step? And if she did kill her, how would she do it? Poison? a knife to the back? It's chilling to think about.

Umm, Sheba put herself in jail, thank you. Barbara only let the news out, which she should have done from day one but didn't because she was so utterly alone she believed they had some sort of super friendship bond between them which was not the case. Barbara is no predator, she never hurt anyone, she's just a repressed old woman who has a habit of latching on intensely to other women on an emotional level undoubtably with a touch of latent lesbianism but not fully developed. This new person would only fall into the same pattern and get away on her own like Jennifer.

Um...Barbrah was no predator? I don't know what your definition of a predator is, but to me, its someone who looks for weaknesses in others, and exploits them for their own personal gain. That is Exactly what Barbrah did. "She never hurt anyone?" LOL Yeah, she treated Sheba and her whole family as if they were entirely disposable! Reducing them all to one dimensional, insignificant nobodies: the crumbling patriarch/cuckold, the pocket princess, and the court jester. She had no qualms about encouraging Sheba to leave her "worthless" family behind, and come live with her. She played a chess game with Sheba's life, keeping silent about the crime, not out of loyalty, but for blackmail. And she turned Sheba in, not out of concern for the safety of the boy, or a sense of moral duty, but out of pure spite!I think you meant to say that she never harmed anyone physically. But at the end of the day, Barbrah is definitely an emotional "vampire" as Sheba said, and she is dangerous to anyone who comes in contact with her. She is narcissistic, jealous, vindictive, possessive, emotionally volatile, and lacking in empathy.

You never know though. Anabelle might have been equally alone as Barbara, and therefore they could fulfil each others lives likw opposites. Anabelle seemed a bit awkward and could have been searching for a mother figure or attachment, which Barbara could have fulfilled. The film (imo) did a good job of positioning audience to sympathise with Barbara as victim, in addition to the targets of her adoration. The other interesting thing about Anabelle is that she admits she doesn't have a significant other, unlike the preceeding two ladies (assuming), therefore Anabelle has a space in her life.

So, no, i don't think Barbara would have 'killed' Anabelle. Ironically, Barbara seemed like a cagey and loyal ally.

Barbara probably had a field day with Annabel. She seemed like a fragile, lonely person.

You keep on reminding me of a darkness only I can see

I don't think she would have killed her..

She just basically bleeds feeble minded young females dry. The weird part, is?

Her MO is never to leave the character she is fixated on. They leave her..

When I saw this thread, I thought you were referring to the Annabelle doll. And yes I think evil ol’ Barb could’ve killed her too. LOL.
