They stole my story!

I´ve wrote a short-story about the mad-scientist-helper-hunchback,the name of it was "Igor", and I swear that I haven´t even heard about this movie.

But, as my story will be publishied before, I will get some credit too, lol!

I don't think they 'stole' your story. I think you're just over-reacting.

"WAAAGH!!!"

reply

Well, mad scientist assistants named Igor has been around since the 1940's or so.

reply

you're over reacting.. Your story isn't even published how could they have stolen your idea, you most likely didn't even pitch to them. This idea of a hunchback assistant named Igor to a mad scientist has been done before and you won't get ANY credit at all. This movie, Igor, has been in development since 2004.

I concur---what an idiot

"I´ve wrote a short-story"?? Solid grasp of English grammar, boyo! A great future awaits you -- in fast food.

if i remember correctly... in The Young Frankenstein (1974).. there was a hunchback named Igor who was the assistant of Frankenstein. i could see it going somewhere with that.

reply

That originally came from Son of Frankenstein (the third film), but it was spelled Ygor. I like how they play with it in Young Frankenstein, though, calling him Eye-Gore and everything

Can anyone say...trying to jump on a bandwagon?

Ignorant lazy people make me sick.

You're an idiot anyway so no one will care what you say.

reply

Lol, I think the writer of the topic was just looking to point out that the idea of Igor is overly used/etcetc.

reply

I know how you feel. Disney ripped off my story, and made it really crappy version of it. You know it as "high school musical" I sympathize brother, frustrating isn't it!
