He's just TRYING to sing terribly right? I'd like to hear his real singing voice (unless that was it, god I hope not!)

yes, i think so....i'm pretty sure i watched like, 2 random videos of him singing something on youtube and he sounded pretty good (at least better than that movie haha). i loved his terrible singing though! lol

I thought his terrible singing made the scene all the better, especially considering that Teresa Palmer could carry a tune fairly well.

You probably figured it out, but I'm gonna respond anyway. :) Yes he's not supposed to sound good. He starred in How to Succeed last year had he had a decent singing voice (after a year of singing lessons). You should google it.
