Does anyone know when its going to be released? IMDB has it listed as 2006 and its 2007 now!

I work for the company distributing the DVD, monterey video.
The DVD version of "Eye of the Dolphin" is scheduled for release on DVD June 5, 2007.
The DVD release date has been extended slightly because the movie is doing so well in film festivals we have been allowing other festivals to pick it up.

It turns out that Carly Schroeder's next film, "Gracie," will hit theatres a few days before the "Eye of the Dolphin" DVD release. We expect interest in her to be very high and therefore the film should get some great exposure.
Watch for additional details on the monterey website in the very near future.
OK - so things have changed! There were so many film festivals and theatres which wanted to show the film we had to delay the release of the DVD again. The current date is set for Oct 5 but it's possible it may have to be delayed again because there needs to be a "window" of time after it's in theatres and before it's on DVD.
Watch for advertisements in your local papers for a show time near you!
The release date has been set as October 2 and is now availabe for pre-order at amazon.com ($16.99)

Looks like it's now coming out on DVD on January 8, 2008.
Guess we have to wait a little longer...
It's going to the theaters on Aug.24th
The release date is on August 24, 2007. I think the dvd is coming out sometime later. There is a web page on it on myspace. Look that up if you want to know more.

shareIt's coming out on August 24th on about 150 screens in 30 cities. They have the theater listings up on the official website.
shareOk so it is playing on multiple screens on Denver without a print ad or review in sight. So weird. I really have never seen anything released so widely without so much as a peep about it in the press. I just saw it on all the multiple theater listings in my paper and looked it up to find out what the heck it is. Looks good. May take my tweener daughter.
