Banned in Conservapedia

I noticed that article in conservapedia titled same as this movie was deleted and is protected to prevent re-creation. Any idea why this is? Is this movie anti-religious or something like that?

Many conservative movie-goers (and most likely the admins as well) do not approve of the main character's lifestyle at the beginning of the film. I asuume they are completely disregarding the fact of the character's redemption at the end in order to spare the easily-offended.

You may be correct. One problem with conservatives is their rather unrealistic perspective of how humans behave. Think about the issue of contraception and abstention. Rather than admit that abstention simply doesn't address the human reality, conservatives would rather adhere to a failed belief irrespective of the harm that it might do to teens. Go figure.

The movie got a PG-13 rating because it depicts Alyssa, a 14 year old, briefly smoking marijuana and drinking. She achieves redemption in the end but I guess not enough to satisfy conservapedia. It did win the National Association of Parenting Award for 2008 so it can't exactly be subversive or anything.
