Graduation Groove; Disscussion talk [SPOILERS]

If any of you guys ever watch the show like I do, did you catch the final episode? If you did, what did you think of it? I was personally suprirse how it went. I did thought Malina was gonna become Kuzco's empress cause the episode look like it gave those sighs, but it turn out to end better than I thought. The part at the beginning when Yzma was going to use the potion before it broke was pretty epic. I love the effects they pull off in the episode and the graduation caps and gowns were so nice too. I never had picture Kuzco making a choice to become a rightful leader to the empire, but I knew he had to somehow needed to go with it because he's emperor! And without a emperor, how is anyone gonna run the empire and all of the villages? Overall, I thought it was really good for a ending. The trouble was watching the show at an end. Two seasons really isn't enough.

Just look at American Dragon: Jake Long, Phil of the Future and Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. They each ended too shortly after two seasons. I'm gonna miss it but that doesn't mean we can't stop watching it until Disney Channel puts more new shows in. The Emperor's New School might be one of the most memorable shows to each fans which will never be forgotton.

Kung Fu Panda and Open Season are the best movies in the world, so why should I give a damn?

Saw it, honestly, I expected more. It felt so rushed. They should had dropped the whole transformation and chicken bit, and anything Kronk, and focus more on Kuzco's fear of returning to the throne with a newly noticed responsability, the friendships between the characters and Malina's apparent fear of loosing him when he became emperor. The idea of Kuzco being scared of power is a pretty damn good one, this episode had elements that could had made it the best overall...but it felt short. After seeing Cornivale I was hoping Graduation Groove would follow up in the decent writting department..but it sort of failed. T_T

Now any remnants of Non-tweendom Disney Channel are gone. Here's hope Bolt gets his own series in the future. T_T

Personally, I would have liked to see Kuzco "get his" at the end of this one. Like, say...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Malina welcomes a visit from her beloved cousin Democra, who's been majoring in government studies at Palestine Academy (in what is now Israel).

Meanwhile, Kuzco's classmates (particularly Malina), realizing he hasn't changed a bit since he came to KA - he's still obnoxious, self-obsessed, a know-it-all, etcetera - suddenly trip over Kuzco's identical cousin, Oczuk..."Kuzco" spelled backwards, get it?

Oczuk's name is an apt one, because he's as charming and generous and warm and kind and smart as Malina. (Just think PATTY DUKE IN THE IRON MASK.) Accordingly, when Kuzco finally ascends the throne and imposes a "cheering tax," Malina presents him with every Emperor's biggest responsibility and worst nightmare: paperwork! (Not to mention all the peasant requests.) Being Kuzco, he faints. Then Democra surreptitiously replaces him with the much-more-worthy-of-the-throne Oczuk.

(Oh, yes...I almost forgot about Yzma. After she temporarily usurps the throne, Malina presents her with the same requests and paperwork. Being as lazy as she is evil, Yzma promptly abdicates the throne and is reassigned to a lifetime position as administrator of Kuzco Academy - where she gets to TRAIN future Emperors without having to BE one herself. Boy, when they say "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown," they're not kidding, are they?)

Oczuk (as "Kuzco") promptly marries Malina; both rule the Incan Empire with the breed of justice, mercy and wisdom the real Kuzco never possessed.

As for the real Kuzco, he receives a whole bunch of thrones...all in the Academy lavatory, which he cleans every day - as part of his duties as ROYAL JANITOR. Democra consoles him by pointing out the old Hebrew saying: "He who is greatest among you shall be your servant."

Pancha and his family move into the Royal Palace; his kids attend Kuzco Academy. Kronk becomes the new Royal Adviser.

So how does this look to you? Better? Worse? About the same? Thanks for your feedback, everyone!
