really quite odd,but quite good no spoilers

Just watched the first part of this.
It involves an obsessive friendship between 2 males and problems when one of them gets married.
Most of the recent ITV Monday/Tuesday 2 part dramas have been poor in my opinion, awful scripts and lots of actors you have never seen before.
This one is better so far.
The script is unrealistic but interesting and the cats is good,Richard Coyle from BBC'S COUPLING is one of the men,Toby Stephens is the other and the women is played by the wonderful KEELY HAWES.
If you are going to watch a tape of this or plan to watch it when it is on again, stay alert,I have watched the first episode and am still not clear where it is going.
A lot of sexual content, one scene in particular would drive Mary Whitehouse mad if she was still around.

It was good, the ending was well done too

Come off it the sex scenes were tasteful and simulated and not real. There are far worse sex scenes unsimulated in British cinemas. It is these scenes that should be criticised.

I was not complaining about the sex scenes, they were ok with me but I think others might get upset, the scene where the kid has a wank must have stopped conversation in a few families with teenage boys in them.

*giggles*

I agree; the cat was very professional. All that meowing on the phone deserved an award.

[A witty saying proves nothing.]

I saw this on a plane to US from London (American Airlines) and I was shocked at the sexual content being shown on a plane. Usually it is edited out of airplane movies, of course if they had done that it would have been more difficult to follow-and it was already difficult enough!

It did not help that the airline touted this movie in its listings as the AMERICAN movie "The Best Man" starring Taye Diggs, so one was stunned to see this instead. I am still wondering things like: WHO was on the phone with Kate? and WHY did Peter try to kill her? To save his friend from having to do it?

Oh well, it helped pass the time on a nine hour flight.....

reply

It was Peter on the phone to Kate and Peter tried to kill her because Miller told her all about what happened when the boys were young 'uns.
Oh and the fact that he loved Michael and didn't want to share.
