Its also worth noting that the only person in the series who makes note of Ninja Ninja existence technically is also Justice himself, who made a comment in episode 5 of Afro Samurai, referring to the fact he no longer has his companion? Consider the fact Justice faced down Afro's father before he killed him as The Number 2 headband! Its possible that as Number 2 himself Justice perhaps saw a manifestation creation from his own subconsicous as well in quite the same manner or not, who knows?
Ninja Ninja is the complete opposite of Afro Samurai and expressive part of himself that comes out as his; 'voice of reason' and concern or the part of himself which psychologically ask himself, the harder questions Afro himself won't actually ask himself or face unless Ninja Ninja does so.
