Diane Kruger is what makes this film

Suck. Either she could have cared less about the role, but besides her character was written was just awful.

He is kicked out of HIS house, were they married? So how the hell did he get kicked out.

Ben and Riley are in London and she still does not believe his theory yet flies to London anyways in order to help out because Ben's dad said there next clue was there. Huh?

She leads the bad guys to them.

After that she is just a space filler.

Too bad she wasn't written out of this film, or somehow written to be held hostage and not know what is going on and Ben and Riley, the real treasure hunters, rescue her and find the truth and so forth.

I think Kruger's great. You need a good-looking gal in these type movies, and she fits the bill.

I agree i always hated that SHE broke up with him. I mean even if she IS way out of his league; HE found the treasure, HE bought the house, all SHE did was get in the way. It just makes me really mad that she broke up with him, and over something stupid (who breaks up over THAT?)

In retrospect, it was only done as the writer's attempt at 'character development' of them slowly rekindling over the course of the movie... but it just ended up undoing what the first film already did.

We've come to the conclusion that The Bird is greater than or equal to The Word.

It called writer's deseperate attempts.

If she showed more cleavage, I would rate this film higher.

What would you prefer, extremely intelligent bookish, helpful but dog-faced woman?!

(actually replace dog faced with hot but wears glasses, that is a good character)

Sleazy, I know.

It sounds like you have a problem with the character Abigail, and not Diane Kruger. You should be complaining about the writers. Honestly, I probably would have never seen these movies if Kruger wasn't in them, because I usually avoid Nick Cage movies like the plague. I think I'm starting to like him more now, though, as he wasn't annoying in these movies and he was flat-out awesome in Kick-Ass.

At least 2 of the 6 stars I gave this film was for her eye-candy factor. The clevage was a welcome touch. Beautiful female, but agree her character was practically hollow.
