So girlfriends can kick you out ?

from your own million dollar mansion and take all your possessions ? in what world ? LMAO hollywood is so lazy. Even wives have a hard time pulling that off.

reply

She didn't kick Ben out, he left himself.

reply

When he sees Riley he says my girlfriend kicked me out.

reply

Well, actually it's true. Women get everything from men. Even the stuff the man had pre relationship. It's how our system works in this country

reply

In a marriage perhaps, but Ben and Abigail weren't married. They were dating. She has no legal claim to any of his possessions (short of possessions that they bought together).

reply

Ben seems like the kind of guy where, if Abigail said 'get out,' he would just go. He might say later 'she kicked me out,' but really, he just didn't fight back.

reply

It was cringe worthy when he was negotiating for his own stuff by promising to swap something else for it and she smirked. I wanted to punch her. Girlfriends do not get your property even if they say "get out". They also can not change locks and put an alarm system on your house and the ask you what you're doing there and how you got in (to your own damn house).

reply

They bought the house together. its there house not his. and if they were together long enough they could have simply been in a common law marriage

reply

Actually, length of living together has nothing to do with common law marriage. Only some states even recognize such a thing. (District of Columbia is one, and yes, I know its not a state.) The designation deals with how you present yourself: do you call yourselves husband and wife, do you take the same last name, do you file joint tax returns.

I don't recall where exactly the house they bought was. Since it did appear to be on the East Coast (more or less) it would have to be in DC or Pennsylvania (or possibly New Hampshire or Georgia, though that they see to be too far from the DC area they appear to be living in.)

Without that, unless they did buy the house together she wouldn't have any legal claim. If they did buy it together, that might count as being a recognized common law marriage within the noted states. Otherwise, if they bought it together, she wouldn't have anymore right to make him leave than he would have to make her leave. Either could likely force a sale, or a buy out, so the property could be split.

However, Ben doesn't seem the type to force anything. He likely just left when she broke up with him.

Yep, she go a man for a small fortune, didn't waste anytime kicking him out and keeping it for herself, and started fooling around with other men. And as soon as he makes another major discovery, possible more money she begs him to come back. .lol

reply

she can do anything she wants, i mean it's Diane Kruger we're talking about here

so many movies, so little time

reply

Of course!! Hollywood pushes (like nothing else) for the total emasculation and pussification of men, worldwide.
