Nuovomondo(Golden Door) has been released in the U.S. today but only in New York. It will be released in Los Angeles on June 1st.

Its too bad... I know many people throughout the U.S. that wanted to see this movie in their local theaters. I guess the rest of us must wait for the DVD.

maybe, if italian american comunities in USA talk about this movie...........

I think (/hope) the june 15th limited release will reach more cities? I don't know, though, it doesn't seem promising that this will happen. Which makes me really mad/sad

Golden Door will be coming to the Ritz Theaters in Phila (and probably to the Ritz in New Jersey.

According to the glowing movie review by Wesley Morris in the Boston Globe (http://www.boston.com/ae/movies/articles/2007/06/15/immigrations_beauty_and_brutality/?page=1), it will be showing at Kendall Square in Cambridge.

Well. I don't know if San Juan (Puerto Rico) counts as a US city, but this movie is being shown here at Fine Arts Cafe.

i saw it in june 2007 at the 2007 kolovary film festival. i am watching it now on DVD.......=0) i like the movie!

It'll be showing in Gulf Breeze, Florida at the Breeze Cinema 4 in the coming weeks...maybe next week, I dont know. It's on their coming soon page.
