I saw this movie on tv today and even though I had no desire to watch it, I did anyway. It was pretty mediocre but I was laughing here and there and smiling from time to time. Then the movie reached it's final act and ending. Not only was the subject matter of the ending ridiculous but so was the execution and timing.
It is the worst ending that I can remember in the past 5 years.
Horribly done finale.

Actually I thought the ending was great. It's ridiculousness totally made fun of itself and everything else involved, and made the whole movie a lot funnier.
Would you look at that? Just call me Mr. Butterfingers...I think it's on the floor somewhere.
The ending was actually very good, it was the build up that needed to be better.

agreed that the ending in some lights seemed just to continue on with the theme of poking fun at the entire world politicians and celebrities inhabit - but I was expecting something much more clever from this movie. the ending just felt lazy, like they just couldn't be bothered to put any effort into writing the last fifteen pages of the script.
Yeah, the ending is a little stupid. I think because of what happens to two of the characters. And why would the winner be that guy? He wasn't even a contestant.
