Jean Dujardin was great in this and I just wondered if they ever did another Pink Panther reboot, as a french language film, he would be a perfect choice to play Clouseau...

I think he could pull it off; certainly more so than Steve Martin. Though the role might be too similar to OSS 117 for him to be interested.
shareEXACTLY what crossed my mind as I was watching Cairo, Nest of Spies last night! Enjoyed Dujardin's performance in this (more so than in THE ARTIST) and it was almost as if he were channeling Peter Sellers in some scenes. Natch, H'wood will offer him & Hazanavicious $25 mil to do another Pink Panther film. They'll take the offer, Dujardin will learn his English dialogue phonetically, but no one in America will go to see the film.
