Overall best episode?

Now that the series is over, I am curious to see which episodes were the public's favourite.

For me, it's a tie between "Finding Frank" and "Von Stauffenberg's Stamp", followed closely by "Jail Break".

No way "Love Crimes" without doubt is the best episode.
And IMO "Call Back" was the second best with "Finding Frank" third.

reply

For me, I liked Call Back the best with Finding Frank coming in second for its on edge tension.

Jailbreak. You know something bad is going to happen all the way and it wasn't a supernatural ending for a change. Finding Frank and Von Staff's were also good (same reason) but FF wasn't as well done (although the ending was nice.)

reply

Jail break was good but I knew very early on what was going to happen. I had seen a similar story done on another show. It may have been the new Outer Limits.

"Delivery Man" with Sam Worthington and Susie Porter.

Can someone tell me what happened at the end of love crimes because I missed the end?

Thanks

The house they were in was not her boss"s house. The couple were lovers who liked an element of danger in their love making and they broke into the house. The real owners came home to find they were burgled and the couple ran away.

I hope you understand what I have written. I didnt like this episode.

I thought that Delivery Man and Finding Frank were the best. Delivery Man got me a bit teary - just the thought of it being possibly true made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Finding Frank was great cause it kept you thinking.

I'm bored, so I thought I'd give my personal opinion on each episode:

***[[Warning: Spoilers]]***

There's Something About Kyanna - It was very freaky how things kept disappearing, and I thought it was a pretty good episode. It only truly freaked me out when I later figured out why her socks and shoes were missing (she wouldn't be needing them coz she was going to lose a leg), and then when I realised her husband's hat disappeared I got a little shiver. I don't overly like the fact that it was a supernaturally-based episode, but it wasn't too bad.

Finding Frank - Really good episode. Garry McDonald played his part really well, as did Steve Bisley. Right before the end, I thought the 'twist' was that he shot his own wife (which I found rather amusing), but when the real twist was brought forth (he knew about the party), that was super freaky! I like the fact that this episode was realistic, and didn't have a fantasy element to it.

Call Back - A fairly good episode, but ultimately predictable. A good idea, but ultimately just goes to show that you can't cheat fate. And I also didn't overly like the fact that it was unrealistic.

Heart Attact - I must admit, I had to watch this episode twice before I got it, everything just seemed to go so quickly (then again, the first time I watched it, my mum was vacuuming, so that could've contributed to my lack of concentration). It was a pretty average episode I suppose.

Von Stauffenberg's Stamp - Haha the Sam Neill episode . Well, I must say, apart from the fact that this episode starred my favourite actor, I enjoyed waching it, and thought it was very clever in the end. An excellent choice of cast (*cough*I'm biased*cough*), a good plot, and not in any way fantasy-based!

A Date With Doctor D - Like Heart Attack, I had to watch this episode again to fully understand the plot. It was a good idea I suppose, but (and remember, these are just my personal views), I didn't like the supernatural element.

Soft Boiled Luck - Unfortunately, I didn't see this episode. I taped it, then forgot to watch it, then accidentally taped over it. If someone could tell me what happened, it would be appreciated.

Arkham's Curios and Wonders - Same as Soft Boiled Luck.

A Flash Executive - This episode was a tad strange for me. I suppose it was alright, but the ending was a bit gory.

Delivery Man - I don't actually remember much of this episode (probably because it bored me (probably due to the fact that it had a supernatural theme)). All I remember is that the ending was too happy and in my opinion didn't have a good enough 'twist'.

Jailbreak - This was a good episode. Well thought out, well cast, really good ending. Jenkins got exactly what he deserved, and though a lot of viewers probably saw it coming, I didn't, so it was a great twist in my opinion.

Saviour - I didn't like the unrealisticness (is that a word?) of this episode. It was a good idea in essence, but ultimately the whole immortal guy thing just didn't do it for me, especially the Bible reference.

Love Crimes - Even though I like kinky stuff normally, this episode just seemed a little too kinky. Aside from the fact that I guessed about two minutes into the episode that the house wasn't his, I didn't really enjoy watching it, because it just didn't go anywhere for me. And because I'd already figured out the twist, the ending wasn't exciting for me.

Grand Final - DID NOT LIKE THIS EPISODE AT ALL! Way too unrealistic, too much magic stuff, fanstasy, supernatual, lalalala. I especially did not like the cutesy, happy ending.

So I suppose it's plain to see that I like the more realistic episodes, and hate fantasy. I don't want to be flamed for not liking the unrealistic episodes, but it is just my personal opinion.

Overall, in my opinion Two Twisted wasn't as 'twisted' as it made itself out to be.

NOTE:
I apologise if any of my above comments seem ignorant. After all, I'm just an ignorant teenager. (Then again, if I truly was ignorant, I wouldn't be apologising)

i thought Kyanna was hilarious, although i don't think that was the intended effect. "the socks, she took the socks!" it was so dumb. a few of them i thought were really lame, like Finding Frank (why didn't he just go in and kill her instead of running around like a dope and wasting our time?) and Von S's Stamp (so boring i almost fell asleep. oooh stamps, scary....), Flash Exclusive (total waste of the wonderful Peta Wilson), oh and there's more i think i've repressed already!

i think the best one was Callback and the one about the clone, can't remember the name, and the Lazarus one was ok, The Delivery Man was good. A Date With Dr D was good up until the end which was annoying. and possibly the last two eps were good, but i won't know until i can manage to track them down and watch them...

Finding Frank (why didn't he just go in and kill her instead of running around like a dope and wasting our time?)

Because he also wanted to get away with it, not just get her killed. Shooting around at the party isn't very common, is it? The whole building was on camera after all, so it would've been seen that he went straight to the party in shoot.

Kinky? Whats wrong with too kinky? Kestie Morassi was a fox in it!!

reply

I'm a girl...I would have rathered to have seen more of Vince Colosimo than Kestie Morassi.

I didn't see all the episodes, but out of the ones that I saw, I liked Jailbreak the best.
And I agree with Cristina_S91 about Love Crimes and Grand Final, they sucked. :P

The best -

Arkham's Curios and Wonders - a little slice of perfection.

Von Stauffenberg's Stamp - it's only flaw was an ending that heaped it on a little too much.

Finding Frank - a worthy encore to the season opener.

The worst -

A Date with Doctor D - Ahem.

A Flash Exclusive - Nyeh.

Finding Frank was simple yet it blew me away... brilliantly acted and directed.
