Why do adult kids want to live at home?

Sadly, adult kids never leaving, or leaving only to return is a pretty common occurence these days. Sure under some circumstances there are no other options, but most of the time its just laziness. Sure a lot of this show is contrived, but this sort of thing exsists. Brandon and Brody remond me of my stepborther, except my dad isnt a Billionaire. And their mom is a total push over just like my step mom. Parents of America, please cut the umbillical cord. David Foster should just kick those two little leeches out, and make them face reality. But that wouldnt make for good TV, or would it?
