The plot is like swiss cheese
The plot is full of holes and totally unnecessary stuff.
For starters Richard Roundtree´s whole role in this movie. They could have removed his whole character and have Foster just steal a random car and it would´ve been better and saved a lot of time. It isn't explained why the two are even chatting when they are walking out of jail.
How about the "Texican"? Why do they show him answering the phone and talking after the guys have bought the guns and left. Did the makers of this film think he was such a hilarious character that we needed to see more of him? Well, let me tell you, he isn't funny and it was a total waste of time.
How about the guy who shoots one of the characters with the shotgun when he is stung by a scorpion? Next thing we see is him riding in the car with the rest of the clowns on the way to the bank. Sure, it makes sense that they would still ride with him and let him handle the shotgun after he blew one of their friends away.
How about Loggia's character? Is the viewer supposed to deduce that he is possibly sick with chorea, athetosis or maybe Tourette´s syndrome? Does the average viewer even know what these are? No. And they are supposed to deduce that he has some medical issues like that? Uh right. Thanks to this nonsense the supposed "evil and sinister guy" comes off like a retired breakdancer on crack.
How about the ending? The makers of this film seriously thought it was a good idea to end the film like that. Dumbest thing I've ever seen. It's like writing a complete book then ripping out the last 20 pages and presenting it to the publisher. What you get is total garbage.
And lastly, the whole plot. Again are we supposed to deduce what Foster's master plan is from the crap that we are presented? It is impossible. I mean was he trying to frame Loggia´s character for the bank robbery by having the clown posse robbing it before him? No that doesn't make sense. Like this whole film.
I rated this film a 4 but not that I have thought about it more I think it is at tops a 2. I recommend that you stay away from this stinker.
