Another Tarantino comparison.

After watching this film I was left with the impression that the film maker is a fan of Tarantino. Let me be more specific. Recent Tarantino. Not his old stuff like Reservoir Dogs or True Romance where the dialogue was the star.
This one reminded me more of Death Proof, where the dialogue was mainly a time filler that tries to glue the brief action scenes together.
The sound track was halfway decent, or maybe just songs I had not heard in 25 years.
The ending was left open for interpretation, but that was a great unused opportunity for a cool gunfight between Conner and Mackey that would not have left such a sense of WTF?
Not an entirely bad film, but could have been pretty good with decent writing.
