very boring, very bad! Not fun, not enjoyable, completely soft and....

Not better than Triangle, not even a bit close.

I don't know which film that you saw, but it definitely wasn't the same one that the rest of us saw.

If you found it too scary then say so.

Do you know how boorish and unnecessary it is to start posts like this? Sure, it's your opinion, that's cool, but what a waste to simply post it and not support it. Nobody cares that you didn't like it. See what sort of discussion it generated on a DISCUSSION BOARD? Only one reply in concurrence with you: "Agreed." Simpletons... sheesh...

"Don't drink that @$$hole, you'll get malaria!..."

Did I post this because I want a lot of replies or people agreeing with me? No I posted it, because thats the reason why I got my Imdb account to post comments about movies. Its true, i didnt post my reasons as why I disliked it, simply cause I thought its intensity or suspense wasnt there, plus the characters werent all that "fun"or likeable to be entertain with them or with their conversations until I wait for something to happen. There were cool moments near the ending but not enough to satisfy all the waiting. The movie tried to be funny, some might find it funny, which is good, but I didnt. The story was decent, acting was decent, but I didnt care for the characters and I believe this could have been a lot better executed. I loved the directors previous work, but not this one. So, hopefully your IMDb account is not just to nag people on how to post on IMDb.

I thought it was a bit random you compare to Triangle, since they are very different films, and just now I realized they were made by the same director!

I agree with you though, Triangle was great and this wasn't. Then again, he made this 3 years before that one, so I guess it's an improvement.

Loved the humor, acting and funny scenes (bear crossing behind them, bear trap opening and closing on leg, leg being stuffed in cooler (after sock and shoe off), pie baked for an entire hour ("cow" tooth/filling), etc.

However what knocked a couple points off for me was that they never full explained who was doing all this and why. Three stories were told at the dinner table (two obviously fake) but the one that Jill told that was supposed to be real wasn't fleshed out enough or confirmed that that was indeed the actual situation or motive. Killers were just generic goons. There was no, "Ohhh, I get it now!" factor.

Watched this only after seeing "Triangle". Now that I loved!
