thank you, nz

When I first got to New Zealand I went to the Armageddon Pulp Culture Expo in Auckland to check out the Kong Panel (which was cool, btw). I actually got there an hour early and so I saw a presentation from the guys from Bro' Town. Being a newly arrived american (yes, boo, hiss - I know) I wasn't familiar with the show, but it was fun watching them - all of those guys are really down to earth, nice and of course, funny. So after I'd been there awhile I was excited to see the preview for Sione's Wedding, starring none other than that crew of guys. It was such a cool experience for someone like me who loves movies to see a film made right in the Auckland area where I lived and worked for 9 months, knowing that I'd actually been in the same room as the cast members. I only got to see the movie once in the theater, but I really liked it, and I still want to get my hands on a region 4 version (when I hopefully get go back again...) So, bascially, I just wanted to say - Thanks, New Zealand, you offered up so many unexpected moments and experiences to me and I will always treasure my time there! (wow, that sounds really gooey - oh, well) And hi fellow fans - you guys rock :)

Also - hey, anyone over there seen that show "rude awakenings?" I got to be an extra in a couple of episodes...but over here I'll never see it!

Really?! Ha! Still...i wish I could see my tv "debut" Sigh. If you see the episode where the girls are talking about, um, "plastic surgery" at a dance class then you might see me standing in front of them, looking Really stupid in sweats pretending to stretch. Blue top, grey bottoms...anyone? No? Oh, well...that was a fun day :)

To answer the person's question....none of them! Go to queestown/ Wanaka area. The lower south island is beautiful....so are many other places, but there's something about that area that put's you in a permanent good mood when you go there.
