Will it be shown in American theaters?

My friend just came back from a trip to New Zealand and Austrailia and got a chance to see it on the plane ride back to America. My friend said it was funny and a cute movie. Is there a chance that it might be released in the U.S. theaters? Or is there any way, we Americans will have a chance to see it? Just wondering?

I saw it last night at FilmfestDC, and I believe it is playing again tonight. Don't know it will get released here (cept maybe on DVD). Too bad, since I think a lot of ppl here in the US could enjoy it, save for the NZ slang terms that pop up.
