I gave it a 10, because I thought people are stupid to put a fun enjoyable movie too low. It need help on rating but still got dumb asses rating it low. Like parents taking their kids to see it. How stupid is that? Some people are just so clueless, they ruin the fun for everyone. Those people in my book are the ones I would never want to hang out with.
What are these people, FLDS? The kind that never get out and do much of anything? But the FLDS get married to children that are 13 years old. What I can't believe that people try to go for movies to take seriously, but they flip out about like their not serious anyways. Some people are just so mind boggling to figure out. Life sucks to be hanging out with this kind of people.
Oh well, these people that hate this movie, can just hate all they want, but I will just keep enjoying it each time I see it. Once, I get a Bluray player again since mine went out on me. I will buy this movie on Bluray. It is one of my favorite mindless fun movies to watch.

People, you got to realize this and I said it so many damn times, even in reviews for staff to figure out, which are dumb anyways, is that the rating is so screwed up because more than a quarter of reviews for each movie have no rates at all, and those reviewers are just putting something like ** out of *****, which is not even a rating at all, and that makes the rating stay put, and not go up or down.
I said many times is that the ratings should be a mandatory in reviews and that means the review cannot be submitted at all until the rating is done. So all ratings will be rated no matter what. Just like any other main website that does reviews has. This site just will not make the rating system right. It is totally messed up, and it pisses me off to see all movies bass ackwards. Only a few are done right, even with messed up system as it is.

I agree this rating system is so screwed up because a lot of people only give 1 to 5 star ratings for movies they don't go up from 5 so a movie gets too low a rating. or they give too high a rating for all Christopher Nolan movie no matter how ok it is. every single movie he has directed even that magician movie the prestige is at 8.0 or higher, wtf? there is no way that that magician movie was that good. they are all fanboys who have to make all his movies 8.0 or higher. come on.

who are the FLDS? I just bought it on blu ray a few months ago. it's just so amazingly great. the most important thing that a movie has to do is accomplish everything it set out to do and be well made. and this film accomplished everything it set out to do and was extremely well made, the best it could have been for the kind of movie it was. the only thing is it is kind of boring in the first 30 minutes but after that it's so amazingly great that it doesn't really matter that the first 30 minutes aren't that good.
are you saying that the people who rated this low took their kids to it so that is why they rated it so low? are you saying people thought it would be a horror movie that is going to be serious so they didn't like it because it wasn't?

yes, Rated R horror movies are better than PG-13 horror movies. ever since the '60s when horror movies started having balls and showing hardcore violence and hardcore sex and nudity horror movies have been better than they were in the '50s and before.
the thing I hate most about movies nowadays, well one of the the worst things about movies and one of the things I hate the most is pg-13 horror movies. they are so sanitized. horror movies should be graphic and explicit, this is horror people! sometimes nuanced horror movies work but I just don't like pg-13 horror movies as much as I like r rated horror movies.
