*spoilers* I didn't like the ending

So, he was really depressed about his life, and his epiphany was to give up the radio show to make a movie. I would have liked it better if there was no movie within the movie and that he used the money to leave his small town for awhile to find himself. He should have went away to college. He shouldn't be with either Jill or Kate. He should have met someone new.
