Religious Scripps... help? =)


Wasn't sure about this line. I'm not a member of "the church" so not sure about doctrine and all that. Also not English so it could be a cultural barrier. =) He tells Daken that his abstinence is "not for forever" or something along those lines. Is he saying he'll not abstain forever because it's not sustainable or realistic for someone his age, or that one day he'll be married and not have to abstain from sex?

His character was really interesting to me. I'm sure he's more fleshed out in the play than the snippets we get of him in the film. Wish I could've seen the show.

I believe he simply meant that he would eventually marry and be able to have sex.
