How he had his School tie the "thin way" with only the thin bit visable ....

and the pins! oh yeah he was SUPERB!andrew knott for me,made the film, i was head over heels for lockwood,he has probably less lines than everyone stil manages to be central somehow.He does have LESS line than ashtar and the other black gay but with his only presence(he could play dakin whatsoever) he manages to be ...present

I did the thin part of the tie. Thought it was dead cool. There was a boy in my class who had the pins. Now he was, and still is, very cool. He hated school. Didn't have to revise and said he'd never be a teacher. Bears and forests, my dear friend.

Why is having the tie the "thin way" considered cool?

When I was at school, most of the other lads started doing their ties this way for a while, but I didn't want to follow the crowd, so I didn't. Also, I think it looks sort of daft.

Am I missing something, or are you being sarcastic about it looking cool?
