I am not asking whether it was real, but maybe it had some meaning or reference which people from outside FY have some difficulty in grasping? Could anybody with a clearer understanding pls explain? Thanks!!!

In the movie Sara asked her mother (Esma) how she resembled her father. Esma told Sara that she looked like her, but that Sara has her father's hair.

Later in the movie Esma tells Sara that she was raped in a war-camp and that her father is not a shaheed (martyr). Esma told Sara that she is "a Chetnik's bastard" (as stated in the movie).

I think that's probably why Sara shaved her head, because she didn't want to look like like the man who Fathered her and raped her mother.

Hope that answers your question.

Yes, thank you. I supposed there was some other reference and had missed out these words.

I watched with someone who studied psychology, and she told me that shaving your head usually has something to do with an identity crisis. Which does make sense in a way.

Plz visit my profile to take a look at unsolved threads.Plz use relevant title,SOLVED if so.
