looks way older than 23.

I find it kinda unbelievable that she's 23 and already a teacher with a husband, own place, and completely on her own. I guess this is b/c this was in 1994??

I'm a teaching major and most of My peers at this age range are still working on their BA degree, working as a Teacher's aide, (or something similar), Or currently in the credential program.

Many people in their 20s today are either living with their parents at home or Living with a roommate or college dorm.
