I was just wondering I'm watching it right now, and I wanted to know if you're mixed, can you go to both or do you have to pick???

well since most mixed people with black and white, their black features come out more. More obviouse that their black but still have lighter skin. My friend is mixed, and she's light skinned and all, but there's no doubt in my mind that she's black. It's very obvious. So she'd probably have to go the black prom, since she looks more black.

Well obviously anyone with African ancestry would be one dropped, unless they were someone who could pass for being all white,i.e Jennifer Beals, Wentworth Miller.

Mixed kids are considered black because of the so called one drop rule. (If you have 1/16th black blood in you you're black.) They would most likely go to the black however it would also depend on thier shade. I noticed alot of white people aren't as good as telling when someone is mixed and also depends on that mixed person.

If they're mix and they identify more with whites rather it be in the same interestest or was raised by thier white mother or father but not the other odds are they will go to the white side that is if that mean guy would have let them. (He was the guy who told the pricipal to threaten brianna about not being valedictorian.)
