Lucas Black as a teenager???? WTF!!???

SERIOUSLY??? It's the first time I'm watching this movie and I was like WTF when I heard he is supposed to be 17. It is really distracting, he looks somewhere between 30-35. And after 8 years since this movie I wonder how is he going look for 'F&F 7'......

I thought the same thing. He's way to old for this part.

The funny thing is that he was 23 when he filmed Tokyo Drift, so he wasn't too far from 18. He just naturally looks old.

Just saw the film, which was pretty good, mainly because of the fact that it was actually filmed entirely in Japan. Black actually looks like he's 18 or 19 in the film---saying he was "too old" for the part sounds ridiculous. And he was pretty good in the role. Also there are people who look and sound older or younger than their actual ages in real life, so nothing unusual about that. The part where the sumo wrestler threw him out on his behind at least twice had me cracking up. What's interesting about the F&F franchise is that it's the only one where I hadn't seen any of the first films in the series. I'm binging through them now---they're all pretty damn fun so far. Plus Sung Kang as the cool and mysterious Han, and Bow Wow, who's hilarious as a energetic teen who always has his little hustles going on the side, also made the film. Those two cars the main characters drove in were beautiful, and I'm not even a car person---all the racing scenes in it were great, and that last race was intense as hell.

People always gripe on his age, but I've seen worse. He's actually aged really well. He's just looked 30 for the past 20 years.

I don't think all the scenes were filmed in Japan. At least I read that most of it was as filmed in the U.S.partly because of legal problems

Yep. It's awful.

20 min in.

So bad.

Quite the opposite, I just told someone the other day that after going back and watching Tokyo Drift, he looks the same as he does in NCIS: New Orleans. When everyone keeps saying "I wonder how he is going to look..." have they not even saw a commercial for the series?

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!

He was painful to look at. He reminds me of the terrible actor from Silent Night, Deadly Night 2.
