Why isn't this movie coming out to theaters yet? Is it even gonna come out to theaters? How many film festivals has it been shown at now?
Though I'm quite interested to find out via TwoTicketsToParadiseMovie.com that at the Vail Film Festival this movie won Audience Choice Award over "Knocked up" (which isn't one of my fav movies).

Agreed. I found out about this moving in Sept, and found out a week late that it played at the Austin Film Festival (an easy drive for me)... so I'm getting pretty annoyed that I can't see this movie yet.
Knocked Up I feel had trouble justifying the rental fee... maybe that's too harsh, perhaps I wasn't in the best frame of mind to watch it.
I'm thinking D.B. and co. ought to see about having Apple iTunes (or other popular, but non-studio affiliated entity) distribute this...
This is why I have come to hate the major movie studios... this and their associated television studios cancel all my favorite programs in favor of mindless garbage (reality tv series, evening game shows, etc.)
Way too much control over the mass-media delivery systems/logistics.
These days, indie delivery systems should be able to completely bypass them (and the writers and people who actually did much of the work actually get paid a proper penny).
